The Difference Between Neuromodulators in Rogers

What is Botox?

Dysport is approved in 69 countries and has 25 years of clinical experience worldwide, with FDA approval in the US since 2011. Dysport’s formulation is thin and excels at targeting moderate to severe wrinkles between the eyebrows, making it ideal for localized treatments where subtle treatment is the goal. Most patients notice results from Dysport within a few days of injections.
Botox vs. Dysport
Dysport and Botox block muscle contractions to smooth the appearance of dynamic wrinkles. Both Dysport and Botox derive from botulinum toxins, meaning they are safe for cosmetic use in small amounts.
Their difference lies in their potency. Dysport is a more diluted version of the botulinum toxin, so it spreads more quickly than Botox, which leads to patients experiencing results more quickly. Each formula suits specific treatment areas.
While the FDA approved Botox for treating forehead lines, crow’s feet, and frown lines, Dysport’s only use is to treat forehead glabellar lines.
What is Jeuveau?
Jeuveau® is a prescription medicine injected into muscles and used in adults for a short period to improve the look of moderate to severe frown lines between the eyebrows (glabellar lines).
Botox vs. Jeuveau
The lack of accessory proteins is the main difference between Botox and Jeuveau. By delivering the botulinum toxin without accessory proteins, Jeuveau helps prevent antibody resistance—which can occur with other formulas. This means you’re getting effective results with each treatment.
