Emsella® is the newest breakthrough for stress and urge incontinence and regaining your confidence for both men & women. This treatment at Renew Aesthetics revolutionizes health and wellness by providing those struggling with incontinence a completely non-invasive care option for their wellness concerns. Instead of invasive treatments or surgery with a long recovery, you can turn to Emsella treatments for fast, easy sessions with zero downtime and lasting results!
Emsella treatments in Rogers last just half an hour. The number of sessions is individualized based on your symptoms, concerns, and desired outcomes. This, along with all of your questions and concerns, will be discussed with your certified Renew Aesthetics provider during your initial consultation.
Trust us—there can be a lot of stigma around incontinence, bladder control, and sexual function. Though we believe you’re beautiful just the way you are, the desire to address & treat these issues is totally understandable. We’ve seen it for ourselves: feeling more in control and less pressure to take constant trips to the bathroom can really boost and affect your confidence!
That’s why we are ecstatic to offer Emsella treatments in Rogers: a care solution designed to target and strengthen your body’s pelvic floor for maximum, optimal results.
Treating Stress & Urge Incontinence
Incontinence is an incredibly common issue for older women 💧This might be a result of weak pelvic floor muscles since pelvic floor muscles play an important role in supporting pelvic organs and controlling continence.
But, bodily changes over time can contribute to the development of urinary incontinence. Pregnancy, having multiple vaginal deliveries, menopause, and the natural aging process for both men and women weakens the pelvic floor muscles in most people; it happens!
Emsella® treatments with Renew Aesthetics improve the most common cause of stress & urge incontinence: lax pelvic floor muscles. Pelvic floor muscles are the layer of muscles that support the pelvic organs and span the bottom of the pelvis. Strong pelvic floor muscles give you control over your bladder and bowel. Weakened pelvic floor muscles mean your bladder isn’t fully supported, and you may have difficulty controlling the release of urine.
Women are uniquely prone to bladder control issues for some of the issues we already mentioned. Do you pee a little (or a lot) when you laugh, sneeze, exercise or jump? If so, Emsella may be perfect for you!
How does Emsella work?
Emsella® utilizes electromagnetic energy to deliver thousands of supramaximal pelvic floor muscle contractions in just a single treatment session! These contractions flex and tighten the pelvic muscles of incontinent patients, strengthening their pelvic floor. This strengthening effect improves incontinence symptoms and can also greatly improve various sexual functions as well—especially for older women.
Kegel exercises help to prevent urinary incontinence by the muscles contracting. Those muscles sufficiently support pelvic organs above the pelvic floor, which affects bladder control.
One Emsella session is equivalent to doing 11,200 traditional kegel exercises. Emsella uses electromagnetic stimulation of the pelvic floor muscles to rehabilitate pelvic muscles and restore neuromuscular control for men and women struggling with urinary incontinence.
The treatment is fast, effective, and non-invasive, which means you can sit back and relax for 28 minutes and then get up and go about your normal day. A series of sessions is recommended to achieve optimal results. Your provider will go over this in greater detail during your initial consultation while assessing your symptoms and addressing your concerns. You may even feel results after the first session! No hassle, no downtime, no shame.
What to Expect
Prior to receiving Emsella in Rogers, consult with one of our medical experts to make sure this is the best option. Many patients visit us from neighboring communities of Northwest Arkansas, like Fayetteville, Bentonville, and Springdale.
We’ll discuss any concerns and answer any questions you may have. After that, we can begin scheduling consecutive treatments to guarantee optimal results.
At each session, patients remain fully clothed and simply sit on the flat surface of the Emsella® chair. Each session typically lasts 30 minutes, and we recommend 6 sessions scheduled once a week.
After your Emsella treatments in Rogers, you may experience slight soreness in your pelvic area but shouldn’t require any downtime or discomfort. This soreness will subside within a few days.
Fast and Effective
Emsella® treatments in Rogers are quick and easy! Patients describe Emsella causing some tingling, a slight vibrating sensation, and tightness in their groin area during the treatment. Once it’s done, there’s no lingering sensation and no downtime!
Emsella sessions only take 30 minutes, and you may see notable improvement after just 1 session! Initially, a full treatment protocol requires 6 sessions scheduled once a week for six weeks. You will likely see improvement after the first treatment but will experience optimal improvement in urinary tract incontinence after all six treatments in the series. Once you finish your series, you’ll have a permanent improvement in your bladder control, pelvic strength, incontinence, and sexual function.
Maintenance treatments within the first year of completing your initial series are required to maintain & sustain your series results. Maintenance varies from person to person based on original symptoms, concerns, and treatment goals.
What “maintenance” means for you specifically will be discussed with you by your provider before scheduling follow-up treatments. It’s our goal here at Renew Aesthetics that you receive personalized care optimized to meet your needs.
You shouldn’t have to be embarrassed by incontinence or declining sexual functions that naturally occur with age, and that’s why Renew Aesthetics is here to give you the gift of confidence.
