SmoothGlo

Get the smooth, radiant skin you deserve

The SmoothGlo is more than just an aesthetic treatment—it’s three of them! We combine a number of effective cosmetic procedures to give you pronounced results.

When you come to Renew Aesthetics, you’re looking to transform the way you look. Thanks to SmoothGlo in Rogers, AR, that’s easier than ever. Using a combination of intense pulsed light (IPL), microneedling, and triLift muscle stimulation, we can give you a complete visual overhaul. We want you to feel excited about the way you look, and with this multi-faceted approach, we can treat a variety of cosmetic symptoms all at the same time. At Renew Aesthetics, we’re committed to saving our patients time and energy. We want the aesthetic process to be as convenient as possible—and the SmoothGlo is nothing if not convenient. Because this isn’t just one treatment, but several combined during the same procedure, it treats a number of different concerns simultaneously.

What it treats:

If a patient is looking to avoid scheduling three separate aesthetic procedures, they should consider scheduling a treatment with SmoothGlo in Rogers, AR. It treats concerns such as:

  • Age spots
  • Vascular lesions, including facial telangiectasias (spider veins)
  • Poikiloderma
  • Rosacea (redness)
  • Freckles
  • Sun damage
  • Acne scars
  • Enlarged pores
  • Wrinkles
  • Blemishes
  • Drooping cheeks
  • Weak facial muscle
  • Poor facial texture, structure, or contour

The SmoothGlo uses multiple techniques at once to change the appearance and texture of your skin.

The name is SmoothGlo for a reason—not only will your skin be incredibly smooth following this treatment, it will also have a noticeable glow as well!

Patients who are familiar with IPL, microneedling, or triLift will be completely comfortable during the process. But even if they haven’t partaken in any of these procedures before, they have nothing to worry about.

SmoothGlo is a non-surgical, non-invasive procedure with zero downtime. Once this procedure is complete, you can go about your day as normal.

The SmoothGlo works by treating your face with intense pulsed light to break up any abnormalities beneath the skin. Next, we will treat the face with a variety of small needles to create micro-injuries in the skin, stimulating collagen growth.

We will also use the triLift to tone muscles in the face for a more pronounced, angular appearance.

The Consultation

The consultation is the first step you need to take if you’re interested in scheduling a SmoothGlo treatment. If you’re not near our main office, don’t worry—you can receive a consultation in a variety of locations, like Rogers, Bentonville, Fayetteville, and Springdale. The first step in the consultation is a short questionnaire. We want to be absolutely sure that SmoothGlo in Rogers, AR, is the right choice to treat your specific concerns. We will ask you what you’re looking to treat, when your symptoms manifested, and what kind of results you’re hoping for. Afterwards, we’ll examine your condition for ourselves and get your session scheduled.

The First Treatment

The first part of the SmoothGlo treatment is the IPL. IPL stands for intense pulsed light, which is exactly what it sounds like. Many people are looking for a more even skin tone, and an IPL treatment is the best way to make that happen. IPL treats your skin with a specific, predetermined wavelength of light that is designed to target vascular lesions, spider veins, rosacea, and more. One of the best parts of the IPL machine is that it works for any skin type, so no matter how dark or light your skin is, you can see significant improvements with the help of the IPL.

The Second Treatment

The second treatment included under the SmoothGlo umbrella is microneedling. Microneedling is a treatment applied with the use of a special applicator. This applicator is tipped with a series of small needles that shallowly puncture the skin. This may sound painful, but most patients don’t notice any discomfort. When the skin is damaged, the body responds with a protein called collagen. Collagen is instrumental in the production of important biological material, such as tendons, muscles, and skin. As the body produces more collagen in the treatment area, new skin is formed there as well, leaving the patient looking younger, fresher, and ultimately smoother than they did before.

The Third Treatment

The third and final part of the SmoothGlo procedure is the triLift treatment. When people work out, most are focused on building the muscles in their arms, chest, stomach, or legs. But some people forget that there are actually muscles in the face as well. And when these muscles are toned, the facial structure will appear stronger and more contoured. The triLift works with the help of RF (radiofrequency) and DMSt (dynamic muscle stimulation). These energies work to replicate the effects of other similar muscular exercises. When applied to the facial muscles, they can provide instantaneous, noticeable results.

The Results

The results of this treatment will vary depending on your specific condition and the severity of your symptoms, but you should notice some results instantaneously. You may need to schedule a follow-up appointment if you’re looking for more pronounced results. Your provider can schedule that appointment before you leave. We will also provide you with post-treatment instructions. We believe that our responsibility to you doesn’t end when you walk out the door. We want to do everything we can to ensure that your results last for as long as possible. If you have any questions about the recovery process, let us know.
