How Renew Can Help With Hair Loss in Rogers

Hair is a big part of all of our lives. It can be the difference between a good day and a bad day. Hair can be the difference between feeling confident and insecure. Many of us express ourselves using our hair! That’s why many people get so (reasonably) upset when they start to experience hair loss. The last thing anyone wants is to feel like they can’t express themselves or are somehow less beautiful, handsome, or confident because they are losing their hair. Well, we’re thrilled to say that Renew Aesthetics can help you fight hair loss in Rogers 😊

Women aren’t alone in this, though. Male and female-pattern baldness is an issue men and women are facing all across the world. That’s why we’ve partnered with our brother organization, the Edge at Pinnacle Point, to produce this quality educational resource for all our patients receiving treatments for hair loss in Rogers. You deserve to know the ins and outs of how we can help you get back your hair and leave you feeling fantastic.

The specialists at Renew Aesthetics are so excited to discuss all things hair loss! This topic can be sensitive because hair loss often feels so personal. Well, you can rest easy knowing that we’re experts in hair loss prevention and treatments 😎

We know that not everyone understands what exactly is happening when they start experiencing hair loss, and while we believe that everyone is beautiful just the way they are, we want to help people feel great in their skin. In short, if you don’t want to lose your hair, you shouldn’t have to

In this blog, we’ll discuss the basics of treatment options, long-term care solutions, and what to expect from hair loss in Rogers. So, let’s dive in!

What To Know About Hair Loss

When most people talk about hair loss in Rogers, the first thing they think of is baldness. While it’s not usually the first step in hair loss, it’s worth discussing!

hair loss in Rogers

Baldness typically refers to excessive and permanent hair loss from your scalp and is the natural end result of progressive hair loss. As they progress towards baldness, some people prefer to let their hair loss run its course untreated and unhidden. Others may cover it up with hairstyles, makeup, hats, or scarves. However you try to slow the visible signs of balding, nothing will get better until you tackle the causes of the hair loss itself.

That’s where Renew Aesthetics comes in 😉

Hair loss (alopecia) can affect your scalp or entire body, and it can be temporary or permanent. It can occur because of heredity issues, hormonal changes, medical conditions, or as a normal part of aging. Anyone can lose hair on their head, but it’s more common in men.

While we can help with some underlying conditions, like with our hormone replacement therapy treatments, many require lifestyle changes or medical intervention.

Before pursuing hair loss treatment, talk with your primary care provider about the cause of your hair loss and treatment options.

Root Causes of Hair Loss

Hair loss can appear in a bunch of different ways. It can come on suddenly or gradually and affect your scalp or whole body. It also frequently affects men and women slightly differently.

Frequently, male-pattern baldness appears first at the hairline or top of the head. Female-pattern baldness, on the other hand, typically starts with scalp hairs becoming progressively less dense. As a result, many women first experience hair thinning and loss where they part their hair on the top-central portion of the head.

Symptoms

But hair loss is not universal. Everyone balds slightly differently. Even more important, not everyone experiences hair loss for quite the same reasons. So, it’s important to pay attention to how your hair loss progresses! Signs and symptoms of hair loss may include:

  • Gradual thinning on top of the head. This is the most common type of hair loss, affecting people as they age. In men, hair often begins to recede at the hairline on the forehead. Women typically have a broadening of the part in their hair. An increasingly common hair loss pattern in older women is a receding hairline (frontal fibrosing alopecia).
  • Circular or patchy bald spots. Some people lose hair in circular or patchy bald spots on the scalp, beard, or eyebrows. Your skin may become itchy or painful before the hair falls out.
  • Sudden loosening of hair. A physical or emotional shock can cause hair to loosen. Handfuls of hair may come out when combing or washing your hair or even after gentle tugging. This type of hair loss usually causes overall hair thinning but is temporary.
  • Full-body hair loss. Some conditions and medical treatments, such as chemotherapy for cancer, can result in losing hair all over your body. The hair usually grows back.

LaseMD

One of the most effective treatment options we have for patients dealing with hair loss in rogers is LaseMD!

Though traditionally a skin treatment, LaseMD has incredible hair growth results when paired with other treatment solutions offered at Renew Aesthetics.

LaseMD laser hair loss treatment uses a non-ablative fractional thulium laser to create “microchannels” that penetrate deep into the scalp. Your provider will massage the proprietary KeraLase KeraFactor® serum into your scalp, which your skin will absorb through those micro-channels and deliver straight to damaged or dormant hair follicles.

The KeraLase serum contains “bio-identical” synthetic versions of the body’s growth factors and proteins needed to regrow hair. The growth factors and proteins rejuvenate damaged hair follicles and stimulate increased blood supply to the dormant hair follicles. This triggers natural hair regrowth and increases the thickness of the individual hair shafts as they grow.

Unlike other hair loss treatments that sit on top of the scalp, the KeraFactor serum travels down the laser-created channels to reach the root.

And, unlike other hair restoration products that only are effective during the hair follicle growth phase, KeraFactor affects all 4 stages of the hair life cycle. This means it gets to work regenerating hair follicles immediately.

Is LaseMD laser hair loss treatment better than PRP hair restoration?

The KeraLase serum contains potent peptides up to 1000X more concentrated than those found in PRP. This means KeraLase is composed of a more powerful mix of the growth factors that specifically stimulate hair regrowth, making it more effective than PRP. Additionally, with LaseMD there is no blood drawing like there is with PRP – and no need for injections, microneedling, or anesthetic.

While PRP hair restoration can be highly effective for some people, LaseMD laser + KeraLase serum may be more effective for others. Each person’s type and cause of hair loss are different, and the Renew Team will work with you to find the most effective treatment for your specific hair restoration needs.

How many LaseMD laser hair loss treatments will I need?

We recommend most patients receive this quick, comfortable hair loss treatment 6 times in a single set, performed once every 2 weeks. By the time our patients complete the treatment set—in 12 weeks—they see a marked improvement in hair thickness and fullness!

Who is a good candidate for LaseMD laser hair loss treatment?

We have found that both men and women benefit from LaseMD hair loss treatment. It is also safe for all skin types, tones, and colors – even darker skin.

LaseMD laser hair restoration has proven effective for restoring hair loss due to male and female pattern baldness. Male and Female pattern baldness is the most common type of hair loss affecting both men and women.

It has also successfully treated hair loss due to telogen effluvium, traction alopecia, and hair loss due to certain hormonal changes and medical conditions.

Does LaseMD hair loss treatment hurt?

LaseMD Skin hair loss treatment is a relatively comfortable process, mild enough to be performed without anesthesia. For 1-2 hours after their LaseMD Skin Rejuvenation treatment, some patients may experience what they describe as a very mild sunburn sensation in the treatment area.

And, though the treatment area may be a little bit red or tender for a few hours, LaseMD laser hair removal patients do not experience any downtime or recovery period. Many of our patients even return right after their treatment!
